Church of the Highlands is proud to host two annual fundraisers—the Impact Golf Tournament each spring and the Impact Race to the Heights every fall—that resource local Impact United Appeal Fund non-profit organizations. Proceeds from each event directly benefit these selected organizations, enabling them to make a difference in our community.
Proceeds from these events directly benefit our Impact United Appeal Fund partners: Highlands College, Christ Health Center, Grace House, Trafficking Hope, the Birmingham Dream Center and the Association of Related Churches. Partnering to host these fundraisers for the Impact United Appeal Fund enables Church of the Highlands to defer tax costs associated with all purchases while making a difference in our community.
Each year, on behalf of the Impact United Appeal Fund, we coordinate Impact Race to the Heights 5K to support local organizations who do incredible things throughout our community. Proceeds directly benefit our Impact United Appeal Fund partners. The services these organizations provide range from serving our most vulnerable populations through faith-based, holistic foster care, affordable health care, rescue from human trafficking, and ministry to neighborhoods in need to church planting, biblical education and more.
Impact Race to the Heights 5k is an event that provides an encouraging atmosphere that moves the community to both engage in a challenging activity together and benefit several organizations making an impact locally. We are excited to offer both a Trail Course and a Road Course. Both courses will take place at the Grants Mill campus of Church of the Highlands.
